Coming out of the Broom Closet
Aug
Right then. In line with the theme for this year, I think it’s time.
My name is Terrie. I am a Wiccan.  A Pagan. A Witch. A worshipper of Mother Earth and Father Sky.  Meeting on the full moon and the whole true experience.
Now I say the “true” experience so that you will ask me more questions. But to start you off there are things that Wiccans do NOT do. We do not worship the entity known to Christians as “the Devil.” We do not cast hexes and harmful spells.
I do worship nature and the seasons. I do believe that all gods are one God. Please note the spelling and emphasis in the previous sentence. I do believe in the feminine Divine. I do believe in the masculine Divine. I do cast spells. I do act in accordance with the Wiccan Rede. I do believe that other people have the right to worship as they will. I do respect other religions. I do read tarot cards. I do cast horoscope charts. I do make and read runes. I do believe in the Summerland. I do practice as a Solitary. I do practice with a coven. I do believe in magick. I do believe in psychic abilities.
With that said I welcome your questions.
I will be active again this year with Durham Pagan Pride Day. I am VERY excited about it this year! Next week I’m headed out to to Janetville to Magik Morn for Firedance. Yes I am bringing my bodhran!
