SO I’m staring down my first bowl of oatmeal. Yes for those of you who know me, I hate oatmeal. Why am I facing it and choking it down? Because the evil oatmeal helps lower cholesterol and has a whack of fiber in it. If I lower the C-lol I can get off the Lipitor. If I have more fiber I’ll lose weight easier. < sigh > at least it’s wild berry flavor. < holds nose and shovels in another bite >

First and foremost, never get the flu shot. I got it against my better judgement and the results were not pleasant. I’ve been so sick that I’ve missed work – BOTH JOBS – three times. Now for anyone who knows me and how much I like money, they know that I am NOT amused.
Some set backs with my depression. Missing meds and other crap. Yes, go ahead and yell at me. It’s a sign for me that I’m burning myself out. Time to start over.
Missed some stuff going on with the coven as well. I really miss my girls. Two more weeks to go and the silliness is over.

Time to shake things up – and take a chance

I am not satsfied with how I deal with life and my responsibilities. Time to make a change. Trying really hard to get my crap together. Feels like I’ve been asleep at the wheel for a very long time. So I’m taking a few chances. What the heck is it going to hurt?
Very happy to report that my coven is growing! We’ve welcomed three new people to our group! ::hugs to all:: Working on studying more and adjusting my attitude so that good things come my way. Samhain is coming up and we’re excited!
Doing my best to dial up the creativity. Must make art. Must make art.
My surgery went well and I’m recovering fast. Yes I had surgery. No I didn’t tell anyone. Feel free to yell at me right about here.

We Be Jammin’

I am moving along with this year’s theme of Taking Chances. I got together with a buddy of mine from work who is learning guitar. We jammed a fair bit on the weekend and I can sing a mean “Dead or Alive”! It’ll be a while until we get to open mic night 
Oh yeah and guess who went down a size in vests at work? Yeah that’s right. It’s ME! Who’s proud of me? Yeah that’s right! It’s you!
Have you seen my niece? Why the heck not??
